Drammaturgia di Amburgo. La rigenerazione del quartiere Rothenburgsort: Piazza del teatro circolare

This final thesis, conducted under the supervision of professors Luca Monica and Maria Pompeiana Iarossi, explores the relationship between theatre and urban environment, investigating how theatre can serve as a dynamic and cultural reactivation tool in a neighbourhood. The analysis is carried out on three different scales, ranging from macro to micro, and is based on theatrical references to deepen the circular typology of theatres. The intervention is located in the city of Hamburg, Germany, specifically in the area of Rothenburgsort and the Elbpark Entenwerder, where a detailed site analysis is carried out to identify both its strengths and weaknesses. The project was developed at the Politecnico di Milano, within the Architectural Design Laboratory under the supervision of professors Luca Monica and Giovanni Luca Ferreri, during the academic year 2022/2023.

Il presente lavoro di laurea, realizzato sotto la guida dei docenti Luca Monica e Maria Pompeiana Iarossi, esplora il rapporto tra teatro e ambiente urbano, indagando su come il teatro può servire come strumento di riattivazione dinamica e culturale in un quartiere. L’analisi viene condotta su tre diverse scale, che vanno dal macro al micro, e si basa su riferimenti teatrali per approfondire la tipologia circolare dei teatri. L’intervento si svolge nella città di Amburgo, in Germania, nello specifico nell’area di Rothenburgsort e nel parco Elbpark Entenwerder, dove viene effettuata un’analisi dettagliata del sito per identificare sia i suoi punti di forza che le sue debolezze. Il progetto è stato sviluppato presso il Politecnico di Milano, all’interno del Laboratorio di Progettazione Architettonica sotto la supervisione dei professori Luca Monica e Giovanni Luca Ferreri, durante l’anno accademico 2022/2023.
