In the complex and challenging landscape of the modern world, where complexities grow exponentially, the concept of open innovation has gained traction, revealing its transformative potential. Faced with numerous socio-economic challenges, open innovation ecosystems have developed, encompassing a variety of stakeholders andresources, united by common goals. These ecosystems facilitate collaboration and co-creation of innovative solutions to effectively meet current needs. However, they present challenges related to the complexity of their management. One of the main difficulties is measuring the impact of these complex structures. It is indeed crucial to justify the resources invested and the collaborative efforts of the involved actors. This research has developed a holistic model to assess open innovation ecosystems, filling a gap in academic literature, where a shared vision on this aspect is lacking. The proposed model integrates various analytical perspectives and offers a comprehensive structure. It has been validated through a qualitative analysis based on semi-structured interviews, the results of which have confirmed the effectiveness of the approach. A case study has then demonstrated the applicability of the model in real-world contexts. This research provides a valuable practical tool and is strategically relevant for monitoring and guiding activities in open innovation ecosystems, ensuring their alignment with strategic goals and maximizing their impact, thus enhancing the contribution of each stakeholder.

Abstract
This research provides a valuable practical tool and is strategically relevant for monitoring and guiding activities in open innovation ecosystems, ensuring their alignment with strategic goals and maximizing their impact, thus enhancing the contribution of each stakeholder.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
