Abstract
In a world where everything moves quickly and change is the order of the day, people and business dynamics inevitably suffer the consequences of this pace. Companies, in order to remain competitive, seek to adapt to this reality and, as a result, embark on paths of technological innovation. In particular, PwC, a leading global consulting firm, aims to innovate business operations through the use of Robotic Process Automation (RPA) technologies. This strategy is complemented by artificial intelligence (AI) solutions and Business Process Management (BPM) platforms, creating what is called Hyperautomation. This combination makes it possible to increase efficiency, optimize the execution of business activities and ensure more effective and strategic management of workflows. This thesis, conducted during an internship at PwC Italy, describes how the introduction of Robotic Process Automation (RPA) enables the automation of business processes, allowing human work resources to focus on more complex and strategic tasks instead of repetitive, rule-based activities, resulting in improved productivity, efficiency and reduced costs. How RPA can be combined with AI and BPM platforms to make business operations more agile and innovation-oriented is also explored.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
