Rapid advancements in Artificial Intelligence (AI) are fundamentally transforming the field of entrepreneurship, both by introducing novel methodological approaches to venture creation and by serving as a strategic asset. AI technologies enable entrepreneurs to make more data-driven decisions, automate and optimize key processes, adapt swiftly to uncertain environments, and foster continuous business model innovation. However, effectively harnessing these capabilities in entrepreneurial practice remains challenging, and there is limited guidance on how to integrate AI across the venture life-cycle. This thesis addresses that gap by providing a structured overview of AI tools and technologies across all stages of venture creation—from early ideation and concept development to business model validation and ultimately product–market fit—highlighting their practical applications. Furthermore, it introduces a novel multi-tiered framework for leveraging AI, which guides entrepreneurs in selecting, integrating, and managing AI solutions at strategic, operational, and execution levels. By systematically embedding advanced AI capabilities into each tier of decision-making, this framework enables entrepreneurs to capitalize on AI’s potential by seamlessly integrating high-level strategies with practical implementation.
Le rapide evoluzioni dell'Intelligenza Artificiale (IA) stanno trasformando radicalmente il campo dell'imprenditorialità, sia introducendo nuovi approcci metodologici alla creazione di imprese, sia fungendo da asset strategico. Le tecnologie IA consentono agli imprenditori di prendere decisioni maggiormente basate sui dati, automatizzare e ottimizzare i processi chiave, adattarsi rapidamente a contesti incerti e favorire un'innovazione continua del modello di business. Tuttavia, sfruttare efficacemente queste capacità nella pratica imprenditoriale rimane una sfida, e le indicazioni su come integrare l'IA lungo l'intero ciclo di vita dell'impresa sono limitate. Questa tesi colma tale lacuna fornendo una panoramica strutturata degli strumenti e delle tecnologie IA in tutte le fasi della creazione di un'impresa — dalla fase iniziale di ideazione e sviluppo del concetto fino alla validazione del modello di business e, infine, al raggiungimento del product–market fit — evidenziandone le applicazioni pratiche. Inoltre, introduce un nuovo framework multilivello per sfruttare l'IA, che guida gli imprenditori nella selezione, integrazione e gestione delle soluzioni IA a livello strategico, operativo ed esecutivo. Integrando sistematicamente le capacità avanzate dell'IA in ogni livello decisionale, questo framework consente agli imprenditori di capitalizzare il potenziale dell'IA, integrando in modo fluido strategie di alto livello con un'implementazione pratica.
