In recent years, the concept of sustainability has become increasingly important in corporate strategies and global policies. However, the adoption of truly regenerative models in supply chains remains limited due to the complexity of organisational dynamics and the nature of the knowledge required for the transition. This thesis explores the role of inter-organisational knowledge transfer in fostering the development of regenerative supply chains by identifying the key actors, the characteristics of the knowledge involved and the organisational mechanisms through which this knowledge is transferred and applied. Through a literature review and an empirical study based on interviews with experts in the field, the research highlights how the creation of regenerative supply chains requires the involvement of a wide network of stakeholders, the management of often tacit and complex knowledge, and the adoption of collaborative practices to foster the integration of regenerative knowledge into business processes. In addition, the central role of a sense of place emerges in the construction of regenerative models that are not only sustainable, but also rooted in the environmental and social contexts in which businesses operate. The results of this research offer theoretical contributions to the debate on regenerative supply chains and practical implications for businesses and policy makers, suggesting strategies to facilitate knowledge transfer and accelerate the transition to regenerative production models.

Abstract
The results of this research offer theoretical contributions to the debate on regenerative supply chains and practical implications for businesses and policy makers, suggesting strategies to facilitate knowledge transfer and accelerate the transition to regenerative production models.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
