The Pulse project is designed as an architectural device aimed at establishing a functional and conceptual synergy between the existing structures on the Plateau de Saclay. The intervention is articulated in three distinct volumes, connected by a raised corridor, which defines a unitary spatial system capable of responding to the different needs of the campus users. Each volume is conceived according to a clear programmatic vocation. The first houses a prototyping laboratory flanked by spaces dedicated to mentoring and co-working, with a view to experimentation and transfer of knowledge. The second volume is intended primarily for co-working, encouraging interdisciplinary contamination. Finally, the third volume houses exhibition spaces for the valorisation of the projects developed within the Plateau, configuring itself as a device for communication and dissemination of knowledge. A central element of the project is the creation of a system of heterogeneous green spaces, conceived not only as an extension of the buildings but as an integral part of the spatial and relational experience of the campus. This sequence of landscapes, articulated in thematic areas, defines a dynamic ecosystem that favor the connection between nature and architecture, reinforcing the permeability of the project with its context and offering places for aggregation, contemplation and outdoor research. The project act as an active urban actor; it transcends the merely academic dimension and integrates into the wider cultural and social fabric of the territory. The project is based on the assumption that the science campus is an open entity, serving as a motor of interaction and cultural exchange between research, innovation and production, contributing to the spatial and social regeneration of the area. The intervention is part of a broader process of reflection on the role of the new complex, not only as a functional structure, but as a vehicle for meanings and relationships. It aim to express its own identity through the dialogue between form, space and perception.

Abstract
It aim to express its own identity through the dialogue between form, space and perception.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
