Abstract
Within dwellings, there has long been a mechanism of climate adaptability, representing the traditional wisdom of vernacular architecture. This thesis, from the perspective of the synergistic correlation among "climate-space-energy," explores the spatial-climatic mechanisms of Jiangxi courtyard-style dwellings and establishes samples for the spatial-climatic construction of Jiangxi courtyard-style dwellings. The thesis initially establishes the theoretical foundation of the "space-climate" configuration. From a methodological standpoint, it delineates the multifaceted interactive mechanisms between climatic parameters and architectural spatial parameters, revealing the complex interplay between architectural spatial construction and environmental performance. From the synergistic perspective of "climate-space-energy," it explores the climatic rationality and energy construction logic of architectural spatial environmental regulation, systematically summarizing the methodological theoretical foundation of studying "space-climate configuration." Jiangxi's complex natural climatic and geographical conditions, coupled with its rich historical and cultural heritage, have nurtured diverse traditional courtyard-style dwelling typologies in Jiangxi. By the typo-morphological investigation of Jiangxi courtyard-style dwellings, this thesis summarizes and extracts "spatial prototypes" and three universally common "base types," revealing that Jiangxi courtyard-style dwellings revolve around courtyard spaces as core elements, featuring blurred internal space boundaries and a layout characterized by a dynamic interplay between reality and illusion. Building upon the study of spatial form, this thesis selects representative samples to delve into the exploration of the spatial-climatic mechanisms of Jiangxi courtyard-style dwellings. The core of this study involves interactive validation through on-site surveys and numerical simulation analyses. It explores the spatial-climatic mechanisms of Jiangxi courtyard-style dwellings across five dimensions: environmental climate selection, spatial form types, spatial-climatic gradients, climate regulation interfaces, and performance-oriented construction. It systematically organizes and presents the characteristic constructions of Jiangxi courtyard-style dwellings that embody climatic rationality and energy logic. The thesis constructs samples of spatial-climatic patterns for Jiangxi courtyard-style dwellings, providing support for the regions with hot summers and cold winters. Additionally, the design guidelines according to the spatial climate mechanisms in the construction system of Jiangxi courtyard-style residences are summarized. The climate-space configuration facilitates a pivotal transition in green building research from theoretical foundations to methodological applications. This contributes as a reference and guide in the practical realization of the "climate-space-energy" relationship at the typological level in green building practices.| File | Dimensione | Formato | |
