This study explores the potential of digital tools as strategic instruments for organizational development, with a focus on structural adaptation and multi-role user engagement. Using the design process of the official APP for Dahua Technology’s Italian subsidiary as a case study, the author—working within the internal project team—applied service and systemic design methods to coordinate departments, differentiate between 13 user types, and prototype behavioral feedback mechanisms. Although the APP had not yet been launched, the project served as an exploratory exercise into how lightweight digital interventions can reflect and support local organizational needs within global structures. Rather than claiming measurable transformation, the thesis highlights practical opportunities and design-based insights in navigating localized digital strategy.

Abstract
This study explores the potential of digital tools as strategic instruments for organizational development, with a focus on structural adaptation and multi-role user engagement. Using the design process of the official APP for Dahua Technology’s Italian subsidiary as a case study, the author—working within the internal project team—applied service and systemic design methods to coordinate departments, differentiate between 13 user types, and prototype behavioral feedback mechanisms. Although the APP had not yet been launched, the project served as an exploratory exercise into how lightweight digital interventions can reflect and support local organizational needs within global structures. Rather than claiming measurable transformation, the thesis highlights practical opportunities and design-based insights in navigating localized digital strategy.| File | Dimensione | Formato | |
