In this paper, the modular design of container form rural station is studied in the context of the revitalization of rural in China. With the development of rural revitalization, rural infrastructure and service facilities have grown. The traditional way of building will not be able to accommodate the needs for a fast, efficient and sustainable development anymore. Container houses are a kind of standardization, prefabrication, movable, reuse of buildings, new ideas for rural construction. It is expected that this research will contribute to designing novel and deployable modular bed frames, for use by rural stations based on geographical and functional variations. The research content includes: 1. Exploration of container types, container building methods, container combination methods, space expansion method and interior clustering design of containers, to understand the current situation and advancement of container modular design. Then the EduCrop project is presented more closely, where its service and product corresponding modular container building requirements are studied. Lastly, comparing climates, geographies, and rural housing requirements from different regions in China is used as reference for selecting materials and design requirement to ensure wide geographical applicability of the modular design. Methodologically, in terms of comprehensive need analysis, technical integration and innovation, feasibility and cost and iterative design with feedback loops to achieve scientificity, practicality of the design and innovation. The research conclusion is that the container rural station plan of modular is in accordance with the shortages and the demand for the infrastructure and public services of the rural area. Through flexible space planning and programme mixing, it is able to respond to various geographies, climates and human activities. This design is a more efficient, long-term approach for rural construction work, and helps the rural revitalization.

Abstract
This design is a more efficient, long-term approach for rural construction work, and helps the rural revitalization.| File | Dimensione | Formato | |
