In the contemporary Italian context, marked by profound territorial transformations, the enhancement of diffuse cultural heritage emerges as a current design challenge, especially in marginal and peri-urban areas such as those of the Parco del Ticino. This thesis proposes an experiential and non-invasive approach to landscape reading, through the design of three thematic itineraries in the northern section of the Parco del Ticino, between Somma Lombardo and Boffalora sopra Ticino. The area, often absent from institutional cultural policies, is investigated as an area in which to experiment with light and progressive ways of territorial activation, based on the relationship with existing places. The thesis is divided into five chapters, combining theoretical analysis and observation of case studies with a project proposal. The project, called P.anTa, is developed from existing routes, reinterpreted through perceptual activities, narrative elements and orientation tools. The proposal includes coordinated signage, information materials and a website, designed as integrated supports for on-site enjoyment. In addition, the work intends to contribute concretely to the promotion of more conscious, accessible and sustainable forms of cultural fruition, as well as to take into consideration the principles of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, in particular Goals 11, 13 and 15, which suggest specific attention to the interaction between landscape, local communities and forms of territorial narrative. In view of the Milan-Cortina 2026 Winter Olympics, the project is proposed as a possible opportunity to activate alternative and lasting paths, capable of restoring value to often neglected territories, even beyond the event itself.

Abstract
In view of the Milan-Cortina 2026 Winter Olympics, the project is proposed as a possible opportunity to activate alternative and lasting paths, capable of restoring value to often neglected territories, even beyond the event itself.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
