Abstract
In a constantly evolving anthropic context, the need to rethink the concept of living takes on a central role, especially for young adults, sentinels of change, who are experiencing a complex and transitional phase in their lives. This thesis proposes a concrete response to this need, designing a residence that integrates living, social, and working dimensions. The focus is on an age group between 19 and 35, strongly influenced by socio-economic, cultural, and technological changes, for whom housing independence is intertwined with the search for a balance between personal ambitions and precarious working realities. The new dynamics introduced by working from home and increasing digitalization have created a need for spaces capable of accommodating different daily needs: studying, working, and socializing. In this sense, the project is configured as a flexible and shared housing system, where the collective dimension is not a constraint but a resource. The residence not only meets the functional needs of this generation, but also aims to define a stimulating environment where a sense of belonging and community can counteract the isolation and frenzy of urban life.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
