Razionalizzazione del processo di sourcing: il caso Cameron Ledeen

Purchases assume a greater importance within companies. The development of transport and technology not only offers new opportunities, but also the need for new tools and methods to manage the purchasing function. The thesis introduces the tools and the basic theories of the Supply Chain Management and their application to the Cameron Ledeen’s case. The analysis of the business case will also help to confirm the usefulness of the principles applied to it in order to obtain cost reduction and improve the sourcing management process.

Gli acquisti rivestono una sempre maggiore importanza all’interno delle aziende. L’evoluzione dei trasporti e delle tecnologie offre nuove opportunità ma anche la necessità di nuovi strumenti e metodi per gestire la funzione acquisti. La tesi introduce gli strumenti e le teorie fondamentali del Supply Chain Management e la loro applicazione al caso Cameron Ledeen. L’analisi del caso aziendale servirà inoltre a confermare l’utilità dei principi ad esso applicati per raggiungere l’obbiettivo di ottenere una riduzione dei costi e un miglioramento gestionale del processo di sourcing.
