In response to the ecological challenges posed by industrial heritage, we propose the regenerative concept of “natural stitching”. This project aims to reconnect fragmented ecological networks, restore degraded hydrological systems, and breathe new life into industrial relics through systematic interventions. The transformation strategy focuses on preserving representative architectural structures while creating habitats suitable for native species.
In risposta alle sfide ecologiche poste dal patrimonio industriale, proponiamo il concetto rigenerativo di “ricucitura naturale”. Questo progetto mira a ricollegare reti ecologiche frammentate, ripristinare sistemi idrologici degradati e dare nuova vita ai relitti industriali attraverso interventi sistematici. La strategia di trasformazione si concentra sulla conservazione delle strutture architettoniche rappresentative, creando al contempo habitat adatti alle specie autoctone.
