ARISE was born from the desire to intertwine two distinct forms of art, architecture and fashion, to create an experience capable of revealing new meanings and perceptions. It explores the boundary where these languages meet, merging into a single sensitive narrative, where the garment becomes structure and the space becomes body. In recent years, events that have revitalized culturally significant sites have multiplied, transforming them into stages of beauty and memory and helping to rewrite their meaning through the evocative power of art and the delicacy of creative gesture. The project concept is based on the fusion of fashion, art, and history into a single immersive event that spans different areas of Villa Adriana. Modular exhibition systems are distributed throughout the complex to enhance it and keep its memory alive; in the Great Baths, where the fashion show takes place, these systems serve a dual function, acting as a frame for the seating and as exhibition support, harmoniously integrating with the architecture. The installation evokes the Villa as an archaeological excavation, through contour lines, the presence of water features, and organic shapes that ideally recall the garments of designer Robert Wun. The interpretation of the garment is reimagined in an architectural key, while light filters through the curves thanks to the use of translucent concrete, highlighting the archaeological remains and creating evocative atmospheres. The project envisions the creation of three main scenographies, corresponding to three events connected to the fashion show, considered the culmination of a large open-air exhibition of the Villa, developed through stone displays placed in the areas of the Three Exedras and the Piazza d’Oro. The fashion show unfolds in three phases: the main show in the Great Baths’ gymnasia, the post-event phase in the frigidarium area, and finally the re-see session in the Tholos, caldarium, and tepidarium zones. The millennial architecture of the Baths becomes the protagonist of a narrative where the languages of art and fashion intertwine, revealing the invisible creative energy that animates them. The project explores the power of creativity to transcend the visible, investigating the boundaries between matter and imagination, between what appears and what remains hidden, giving the Villa a new poetic and contemporary dimension.

Abstract
The project explores the power of creativity to transcend the visible, investigating the boundaries between matter and imagination, between what appears and what remains hidden, giving the Villa a new poetic and contemporary dimension.| File | Dimensione | Formato | |
