This study focuses on the visiting experience of visually impaired people in art museums, with a particular emphasis on the obstacles they encounter in the process of understanding art, the individual differences among visually impaired people, and how communication design and accessible design can assist and optimize the visiting experience of visually impaired people. The study begins by analyzing the perceptual and cognitive characteristics of visually impaired groups, and examines the ways they obtain information and understand artworks during the visiting. Based on this, by reviewing existing accessible design cases in art museums, the main methods of current accessible designs for visually impaired people are summarized. The study finds that although the existing designs have made certain progress in tactile models, voice explanations, and multi-sensory assistance, their main focus is on finding ways to acquire information to substitute vision. Visually impaired visitors can obtain information through touch or listening, but still have difficulty establishing a complete artistic understanding structure. Especially in the expression of abstract visual elements, information organization, and continuity of the visiting experience, there are still deficiencies. Based on the above problems, this paper will systematically review and restructure the accessible design paths for visually impaired people in art museums.

Abstract
Based on the above problems, this paper will systematically review and restructure the accessible design paths for visually impaired people in art museums.| File | Dimensione | Formato | |
