Landscape narratives are not just a means of storytelling about a site; they also serve as an approach to enhance the processes, layers of formation, ecological values, contextual foundations, and both cultural & natural engagement that a site offers. In contrast, the concept of shared ground emphasises the integration of ecological processes within narrative approaches to foster shared spaces between humans and nature. This thesis begins by establishing the relevance and necessity of this approach, aiming to determine how landscape can function as a protagonist in design narratives for cultural historic sites, particularly through narratives and the lens of shared ground supported by literature reviews and discussions. To further investigate this approach, case studies and critical analyses were conducted to examine what fosters the idea of narratives & various design strategies and tools that prioritise narrative aspects. Insights derived from these projects inform a synthesis of core concepts, contributing to the development of guidelines for incorporating landscape narratives and shared ground in the context of cultural historical sites.

Abstract
Insights derived from these projects inform a synthesis of core concepts, contributing to the development of guidelines for incorporating landscape narratives and shared ground in the context of cultural historical sites.| File | Dimensione | Formato | |
