This work provides an economic evaluation for an innovative condenser system in CSP power plants. The system consists of a dry cooler condenser and a latent thermal energy storage using PCM (phase change material). This particular solution could be suitable to improve the performance of the air cooled condenser in desertic areas because of the di erence in temperature between day and night. The growing in performance without the use of cooling water may improve the global e ciency of CSP plants in arid regions.

Abstract
This work provides an economic evaluation for an innovative condenser system in CSP power plants. The system consists of a dry cooler condenser and a latent thermal energy storage using PCM (phase change material). This particular solution could be suitable to improve the performance of the air cooled condenser in desertic areas because of the di erence in temperature between day and night. The growing in performance without the use of cooling water may improve the global e ciency of CSP plants in arid regions.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
