This thesis investigates the regeneration of Mostra d'Oltremare in Naples through the adaptive reuse and enhancement of its historical and cultural heritage. Originally conceived as a major exhibition complex, the site now faces challenges of underutilization, fragmented public spaces, and the need to reconcile heritage conservation with contemporary social and environmental demands. The research focuses on transforming a selected area within the complex into a Cultural Center that serves as a catalyst for cultural exchange, education, and community engagement. Through historical investigation, urban and architectural analysis, site visits, and an assessment of existing conditions, the project identifies the Roman Baths, the Roman path, and the surrounding heritage assets as key elements for the site's revitalization. The research's main focus is the transformation of an abandoned school building into a new Culture Center building that represents unity and awareness at the site of Mostra D'Oltremare. Also, the reviving of the ancient Roman Path ruins, which previously was a significant threshold dividing historical Naples from modern Naples. The design proposal integrates conservation strategies with contemporary architectural interventions, establishing a dialogue between the historic fabric and new public functions. A comprehensive masterplan reorganizes circulation, strengthens connections between cultural landmarks, and enhances the quality of public open spaces. Particular attention is given to the preservation and interpretation of the Roman Baths, ensuring their protection while improving accessibility and visitor experience. The Thesis Presents a holistic approach to adaptive reuse and Urban revitalization, proposing a model for the revitalization of historic cultural sites that balances conservation requirements with contemporary Urban needs that blends the site and enhances accessibility, making it adaptable to all types of visitors. Nonetheless, the project integrates the ancient Roman baths of Via Terracina into the daily life of the intervention since it was previously also used on a daily basis, so the intervention raises awareness of its importance and accentuates its hritage through the daily pedestrian walk. The project is further developed through structural design, integration of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems, and the application of the New European Bauhaus principles, which promote sustainability, beauty, and inclusiveness. By combining heritage preservation, environmental responsibility, and social activation, the proposal demonstrates how architectural regeneration can contribute to the long-term resilience and cultural identity of Mostra d'Oltremare. The thesis presents a holistic approach to adaptive reuse and urban revitalization, proposing a model for revitalizing historic cultural sites that balances conservation requirements with contemporary urban needs, integrates the site, and enhances accessibility, making it adaptable to all types of visitors.
