This study investigates the contemporary transition in communication design from static and rigid visual identities to fluid and dynamic approaches, driven by technological evolution and the need for brands to adapt to multiple digital media. Faced with this landscape of mutability, the research is structured around two fundamental questions: the exploration and conceptual differentiation of the various terminologies attributed to these systems (such as soft, kinetic, smart, mutant, or post-logo identities) and, centrally, the analysis of how dynamic systems manage to ensure brand consistency through visual variation. The methodology combines a literature review and case study research. The theoretical foundation confronts traditional perspectives of consistency based on uniformity and strict repetition of symbols (defended by authors such as David Aaker and Alina Wheeler) with the new paradigms of dynamic coherence and structural flexibility (proposed by Kapferer, Neumeier, and Felsing). Through a markedly cyclic and iterative research process, the document analyses the role of Generative Design and Creative Coding in the development of identity systems, aiming to analyse and confront the different theories through the detailed case study of two emblematic projects: Casa da Música and the Nordkyn peninsula.

Abstract
Through a markedly cyclic and iterative research process, the document analyses the role of Generative Design and Creative Coding in the development of identity systems, aiming to analyse and confront the different theories through the detailed case study of two emblematic projects: Casa da Música and the Nordkyn peninsula.| File | Dimensione | Formato | |
