Abstract
The socio-cultural transformations taking place and the concept of "home" today is not necessarily permanent residence and permanent housing units to become the leading contemporary architectural object a "temporary", the symbol of nomadism and flexibility that characterizes the age in which we live. Prefabrication, modularity, light weight, portability, flexibility then become the key words of a new lifestyle, the different methods used are represented by the container house, prefabricated house, or modular construction. Through all those examples of design, prototyping and testing, with the purposes and methods that are often vastly different, have followed from the '60s to today, we tried to return the mutability and instability that characterize certain contexts. Declining requirements that characterize the contemporary trend of mobile architectures, flexible and ephemeral, the stage of inductive analysis was completed and turned into actions in the proposal for a temporary housing unit, the Yur-Tent, able to accommodate visitors to Milan throughout year. Within this context, it was also outlined the layout of the campsite and a container house for a stay of longer duration. In this work, the declination of the temporary home is placed in a more structured and planned: it is possible to imagine a development of these systems, acquisitions, creating a Eco Camping, ready to welcome people with different needs, but able to live in close contact paying attention to the eco environment.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
