If you wanted to represent the project’s theme with a few strokes graphic design, and better yet, the area in which it’s installed and the design motivations that characterize it, one could easily conceive of a concept, made of strong historical lines, evocative images, focal points: Porta Genova and its station with the railway area, the track of the blocks and took Beruto drawn from the 1889’s plan, the water system. And now, just from these initial design ideas, through a series of suggestions gained from the analysis of other buildings realized or not, it has come to define the thesis project, presented here. Starting the blocks placed above the railway station, an area in which reigns supreme on the axis of Via Bergognone, it has defined the building installation: a long stick with a new cast urban fifth, who, mindful introversion of industrial prospects so present in the project area, close to the head via Bergognone, drawing a new skyline. In front of it, instead the railway station, it is developing the new dock, and not merely a simple sheet of water, but true urban element that can restore life to Milan waterways, drains over time. On this stretch of water stood, engaging with passages at high altitude and not three individual elements, interconnected yet independent of the large hall of the swimming pools and spas, the terraced plaza and the floating garden. As a last but not least important element, I want to remember that the two runways at high altitude, with their existence, connecting the upper area to the railway station with the one below it, trying to overcome the gap and reinterpret existing even at town, between the two areas. A new set of buildings so that in laboratories, spas, swimming pools, public plaza and garden floating become the mouthpiece for an interpretation of the history of the area of Porta Genova, without losing sight of its potential and future development.

Abstract
A new set of buildings so that in laboratories, spas, swimming pools, public plaza and garden floating become the mouthpiece for an interpretation of the history of the area of Porta Genova, without losing sight of its potential and future development.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
