The areas of application of 2PP technique described in this thesis are related to the great field of optoelectronics, specifically to an alternative technology for “e-paper” or “e-ink”, and focuses on the study of the nematic liquid crystal 5 CB behavior in 3D woodpile-like structures at the application of transverse and longitudinal electrical field. The second area deals with a microfluidic applications in Lab-on-a-Chip devices, and focuses on the study of microstructures in SZ2080 optimized for filtering in microfluidic channels.

Abstract
The areas of application of 2PP technique described in this thesis are related to the great field of optoelectronics, specifically to an alternative technology for “e-paper” or “e-ink”, and focuses on the study of the nematic liquid crystal 5 CB behavior in 3D woodpile-like structures at the application of transverse and longitudinal electrical field. The second area deals with a microfluidic applications in Lab-on-a-Chip devices, and focuses on the study of microstructures in SZ2080 optimized for filtering in microfluidic channels.File allegati
