This work has the purpose to describe the results of a survey, done in August 2011 in Val Duron, Trentino Alto Adige, Italy, to obtain three different geological profiles of how Dolomite dips into Volcanics in a sedimentary basin. It was also the occasion to test the possibilities offered by an electromagnetic profiler (EMP-400 by GSSI) compared to the ones of a technique of proven reliability like the one of GPR (Detector Duo System by Ingegneria dei Sistemi). The analysis of EM data is done making an interpolation and a digital plot of the measures over a georeferenced surface.

Abstract
This work has the purpose to describe the results of a survey, done in August 2011 in Val Duron, Trentino Alto Adige, Italy, to obtain three different geological profiles of how Dolomite dips into Volcanics in a sedimentary basin. It was also the occasion to test the possibilities offered by an electromagnetic profiler (EMP-400 by GSSI) compared to the ones of a technique of proven reliability like the one of GPR (Detector Duo System by Ingegneria dei Sistemi). The analysis of EM data is done making an interpolation and a digital plot of the measures over a georeferenced surface.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
