This is the start, the beginning of a tale, an experience, memory, an ever-evolving event setting sail. I will share stories and thoughts with you that together will lead to the birth of a new character, a new being. This new life will be part me, part you, a blend of all of us. Some of you will have great influence and some of you will be hidden in mysterious details for the curious to explore. Whatever your role, as an observer or inducer, all of you are special. Without you this new life would be sans meaning just a sterile structure floating in emptiness. Placed in an unknown world we seek understanding through familiarity and similarity, comparing and identifying the present via past experiences. We create customized patterns, own filters to process the world around us. Every day we are presented with new combinations of shapes and experiences. We take these individual elements or component parts and place them in a relationship resulting in distinct features we can process. Features that we can compare to former stimuli and recognize as an understandable pattern, a meaningful whole for us as individuals. Following writings will entail extracted components/packets of events that will shape the course of this creation. These bubbles of experiences will depict my mental image forming a network of building blocks. A set of interwoven stories merged with the relationships you create to interpret them. Through these interactions each of you will draw your own narration of this project and with your story participate in the process of shaping this new life.

Questo è l’inizio, l’inizio di una storia, di un’esperienza, di una memoria, di eventi in continua evoluzione. Condividerò storie e pensieri che porteranno alla nascita di un nuovo personaggio, di un nuovo essere. Questa nuova vita è parte di me, parte di te, una miscela di tutti noi. Alcuni di voi avranno una grande influenza e alcuni di voi saranno nascosti dietro misteriosi particolari che i più curiosi potranno esplorare. Sia che voi siate semplici spettatori o attori, siete speciali. Senza di voi questa nuova vita non avrebbe significato, sarebbe solo una mera e sterile struttura galleggiante nel vuoto. Situati in un mondo sconosciuto, cerchiamo costantemente la comprensione attraverso familiarità e somiglianza, confrontando ed identificando il presente attraverso esperienze passate. Creiamo modelli e filtri personalizzati con cui elaborare il mondo che ci circonda. Ogni giorno ci troviamo di fronte a nuove combinazioni di forme ed esperienze. Prendiamo questi singoli elementi, o alcuni componenti, e cerchiamo di metterli in relazione tra loro attribuendogli caratteristiche che siamo in grado di elaborare. Caratteristiche che possiamo paragonare a stimoli passati, radicati nel nostro essere, che riconosciamo come percorso comprensibile e significativo per noi individui. Scritti successivi vi introdurranno a contributi astratti/insiemi di eventi che formeranno il corso di questa creazione. Queste bolle di esperienze ritraggono la mia immagine mentale formando una rete di blocchi costruttivi e costruendo una serie di storie intrecciate, fuse attorno alle relazioni che creiamo nel momento in cui cerchiamo di interpretarle. Attraverso queste interazioni ognuno di voi disegnerà la propria narrazione di questo progetto e ciascuna storia concorrerà a plasmare questa nuova vita.
