Since middle of the 19th century, the process of industrialization and automation has changed the industrial speed of urban development in the world, and make urban development rapid. At the same time, more and more traffic squares are known by people as the entrance of city and social culture, and play a part of more importance. As part of citizens’ life, traffic squares have particular activities and usage, and different experience and requirements to people. Traffic squares are a part of urban development, and require mutual communication, merger and supplement with urban planning. Along wi th urban development, there are more high-rise buildings, increasing car exhaust fumes and worsening of the air quality, and people living in the urban area are longing for natural environment. This design intends to make city and people, and people and nature closer, and put people into the natural environment of the city through the discussion of traffic squares. Piazza della Repubblica square, the important traffic distribution in Milan, is composed of six parts, which is segmented by roads, intending to connect the six parts with pavement designed to make it look like a whole, strengthen the afforestation and beautification to the environment and make the city more natural.
