Abstract
Lisboa, la ville blanche, traveled east to west from the Tagus and bathed by the Atlantic Ocean, hides in its bosom ducts that branch like arteries, to allow the water supply to the city. Alfama was once fishing neighborhood, the heart of Lisbon at the time of construction of the Moorish Castle of São Jorge, is the place where we celebrate the construction of most of the tanks and fountains in the city's history. The project is a journey through time and space. An area investigated, imagining the route that the water from the belly of the earth until, reaching the surface of the hill of the Alfama, Lisbon's become an indispensable element in the landscape. Nestled in the park, the architecture generates an underground space that alludes to that of a deep old well, which in the vacuum of space spread of water sounds like a soundboard. Walking through the park, the sound of footsteps breaks in front of silent lakes scattered throughout the green, clobbing the image of the ruins, contribute to the creation of a new sensory landscape.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
