This thesis’s work is based on the analysis of the dynamic interaction phenomenon generating at the contact between a debris flows and an obstacles situated on its way. This analysis is made to bring out some useful information to propose a design approach for the sizing and the verify of contrast embankments, that are structures in reinforced earth placed in the perpendicular direction with respect to the assumed direction of the landslide, to contrast its downstream development. Especially in this work will be analyzed the phenomenon with respect to the case of debris flow, that are very fast slope movements with an elevate dangerousness if they reach a man-made environment.

Abstract
This thesis’s work is based on the analysis of the dynamic interaction phenomenon generating at the contact between a debris flows and an obstacles situated on its way. This analysis is made to bring out some useful information to propose a design approach for the sizing and the verify of contrast embankments, that are structures in reinforced earth placed in the perpendicular direction with respect to the assumed direction of the landslide, to contrast its downstream development. Especially in this work will be analyzed the phenomenon with respect to the case of debris flow, that are very fast slope movements with an elevate dangerousness if they reach a man-made environment.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
