Scrivanie contemporanee. Flessibilità, sistematicità, identità, attrezzabilità come fattori di progetto

Desk which is necessary in our daily lives has already a long history. As it were, it is almost as long as the history we read & write. The form and function of desks have changed a lot over the past hundred years, which is not only because of the technological innovation and manufactural development brought by the Industrial Revolution, but also caused by the development of design and the introduction of new aesthetic standards. Otherwise, in the design and research of the whole contemporary desks, we also have to take the current social state and people’s work style into consideration. The concept of ‘People Oriented’ has been put forward for many years. So it is also necessary to put part of the research focus onto the office interior and the stuff. Particularly in the current great IT society, thanks to the rapid development of science and technology, new IT products turn up and are launched at set intervals. These small developments and changes are able to influence the ‘People’ in office and to understand the development of their working condition and the change of their work style will better serve the current design of desks. Mean while, the influence of modern architecture and modern interior design is enlightening product designers gradually. Over the past several years, new style desks and the design of their annexes are reported in succession and accepted by people. This tendency of design has been introduced into the whole design trend and enrich the lives of “People” in office. This text analyses and research the feature of current office environment and work style in the great IT society and new desks in the market to definite the design idea and imagination of our modern desks. The feature of modern desk design can be summarized as flexibility,systematicness,cooperation and attrezzabilita’ on the basis of the design and reseach in each stage above in this text. At the end of this research,there is a systematic design of modern desks and their annexes.

La scrivania è senza dubbio lo strumento lavorativo con cui siamo a più stretto contatto durante la nostra giornata. Negli ultimi cento anni lo sviluppo della scrivania si è reso protagonista di molteplici cambiamenti sia per quanto riguarda la sua funzionalità che la sua struttura; ciò ha riguardato non solo la sua operatività all’interno dei processi di produzione a seguito della rivoluzione industriale ma anche il lato prettamente estetico ed il suo design. Inoltre nello studio delle scrivanie contemporanee non si possono ignorare il contesto sociale e il modo di lavorare odierno; è stato proposto da molti anni il concetto di "peopleoriented", pertanto è necessario focalizzare una parte della ricerca sulle persone e sul loro ambiente lavorativo, poichè nella società informatica mondiale d'oggi, l'informazione sta influenzando continuamente la nostra vita quotidiana. All’interno degli ambienti lavorativi d’oggi, i modelli di lavoro stanno diventando sempre più flessibili, quindi si è imposta la necessità di adattare queste nuove esigenze professionali ad una sistemazione d’ufficio più consona. Le caratteristiche del design delle scrivanie contemporanee sono: flessibilità, sistematicità, identità, attrezzabilità. Questo lavoro di ricerca si conclude infine con la progettazione della scrivania e dei suoi accessori.
