The work presented in this thesis has been developed during the building technology components certification process performed by Materials Testing Laboratory of the Structural Engineering Department of Politecnico di Milano with the aim to characterize the mechanical behaviour of a new point fixing device for laminated glass. This kind of support is based on the principle better known as “interlayer juction” in which the anchor is adhesively bonded to the interlayer and the glass panes trough the lamination manufacturing process. A comprehensive experimental and numerical analysis has been carried out in order to achieve the goal described above.

Abstract
The work presented in this thesis has been developed during the building technology components certification process performed by Materials Testing Laboratory of the Structural Engineering Department of Politecnico di Milano with the aim to characterize the mechanical behaviour of a new point fixing device for laminated glass. This kind of support is based on the principle better known as “interlayer juction” in which the anchor is adhesively bonded to the interlayer and the glass panes trough the lamination manufacturing process. A comprehensive experimental and numerical analysis has been carried out in order to achieve the goal described above.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
