Study on application of tools for design planning — Scenario based story board & system organized map for service system design

With the development of civilization, science and technology, most of the governments of developed country and companies attached great importance to DESIGN. Since 21 century, China speeds up the step in joining into the world economy. Creative, as the way to help China economy developing, become more and more important, especially the competition of design. Design and the education system of design in China are still developing. People are getting more and more focus on the fields of design management and stochastic structure of design. Stochastic structure of design, combined with the theory of design and management, looks for the best solutions in design, which helps the company getting more and more creative and individual. Design and management looks like the product design, manufacture and sales processes. It is essentially a complicated system. Design planning is an important process in the design management which is the key stage links to excellent design; combine with developing tendency to provide guidelines for the correct decision, design make great impacts to the economic and social effects. Design planning is not simple, functional, after appearance, of course, but the product, environment, human and social harmony which is restrained by the various environments and also to the satisfaction of human physiology, psychology and social demand. Give consumers more high added value and high quality products. It is also able to design products hold back the support of the system. With the author's one year exchange experience in Politecnico Di Milano, (product service system). Choose design planning tools for cutting points. a detailed study on the context of the two design tools （storyboard and system organized map）and its design practice application in their respective planning process. Then combined with personal experience worked in NIVEA workshop, which was together with the enterprises and design academic in order to use theory of knowledge to approve actual practice of project, get practice application process of design tool, and get new view point of. Try to find design principles and guidelines, also evaluation model through practice as well. Expected in future research will be able to make the design planning tools in a wider range of different design types of design planning in the field of applications made by the practice, and the evaluation of the principle is more reasonable.
