Study on the Service System Design of the Creative Industries Parks in Shanghai

The creative industries in Shanghai face both opportunities and challenges. The main problem is the lack of a complete product service system of creative industries parks This paper attempts to use the principles of product service system design to study on the service system design of the creative industries parks in Shanghai. The concept of product service system is expounded firstly, and the contents and principles of product service system design are put forward. According to the general steps of product service system design, the idea of the service system of the creative industries parks in Shanghai is then generated from the analysis of the characteristics of Shanghai creative industries by comparison with that of European creative industries. On this basis, the proposals of operation processes of the service system of Shanghai creative industries parks are suggested. Further, based on the operational processes, the suggestions about the details design of products and services in the system are expounded. Finally, the prospects of the development of Shanghai’s creative industries are raised. The conclusion can be drawn from the studies in this paper on the service system of creative industries parks in Shanghai: the service system design of creative industries parks requested that the function of the parks has to be specified firstly. Starting from the commands of the creative enterprises in the park, the operation al processes of the system are designed in terms of the customer experience processes. The design on the details of service and forms of products is emphasized, especially the co-operation of the different service functional departments. The healthy environment can be provided for the development of Shanghai creative industries only if the service system of creative industries parks in Shanghai is improved.
