PLuggage 4 Life. A 911 idea of a power-full luggage with basic needs for times of need. 4 a small piece of life, on the roll

pLuggage 4 Life, an idea, having where I come from as a background, what I have been through in the past four years as a driving motor, and the shape of the world we’re in as a context. I come from a land torn by war, ever since my eyes opened up. I kept carrying my luggage, looking for an all-man land, a luggage, becoming a Freudian extension, a “soul-mate”, with a small life inside, basic and light. Last stop of the way, Milan. and many marking events to witness in four years and live from a distance. Summer (July) 2006, and another war, in where I come from. Spring (May) 2008, the deadly Sichuan earthquake and all the losses it generated in China. A year after (April 2009), and the Aquila earthquake that surprisingly tore Italy. And ultimately, the 6th deadliest earthquake that stroke Haiti and shook and mobilized the world, on the dawn of this year (January 2010). 4 marking events and relevant examples that marked the past 4 fours. And I knew. Of course an earthquake is far different from a war. There is no “ground” for comparison. An earthquake is far beyond man’s will and control, A war is from man’s will for control. For wars, we can do something. For earthquakes, we can only do something, but for the aftermath. But for both we can try to be prepared. Even if the reason had two names, (war or earthquake), the result had only one, and it was destruction. Rubbles and home-lessness. That was a reason enough for me to try to conceive something that can be helpful for times like these. Merging where I come from, what I have been through, PSS, and the world today, in an idea. pLuggage 4 Life. Trying to create a luggage that could become one’s bed, and thus satisfying the first basic and major need for shelter, Then, em-powering it with a “plug” so that it can also be power provider for the other basic human needs. This same luggage that we keep carrying becomes thus a system, and a “911” idea that can be helpful in dark moments, use-full and power-full, for emergency times, in a world today torn by natural disasters and wars, where individual lives are “on the edge”.

pLuggage 4 Life, e’ un’idea, avendo da-dove-vengo come sfondo, cio’-che-mi-ha-successo nel corso dei 4 anni scorsi come motore, e come contesto l’aspetto attuale del mondo oggi. Vengo dal Libano, una terra spezzata dalle guerre, ed e’ cio’ che I miei occhi hanno visto, da sempre. Trascinavo il mio bagaglio, sempre alla ricerca di una terra per tutti; un bagaglio diventato com’un estensione, un amico, contenitore ed allegoria di una piccola vita, essenziale e leggera. Ultima fermata, Milano. E tanti eventi importanti da testimoniare, da distanza, nel giro di questi 4 anni. Estate (Luglio) 2006, e un’altra Guerra, nel Libano. Primavera (Maggio) 2008, e il famoso terremoto Sichuan e tutte le perdite umane che ha generato e lasciato indietro, nella Cina. Poi, circa un anno dopo, (Aprile 2009), ed un altro terremoto, colpendo l’Aquila, e sorprendendo l’Italia, In fine, il sesto piu’ mortale terremoto nella storia, quello che ha colpito Haiti e che ha agitato e mobilizzato tutto il mondo, all’inizio di quest’anno. (Gennaio 2010) 4 eventi, indimenticabili nella memoria del mondo, 4 esempi relevanti per me e che hanno marcato questi 4 anni scorsi. E sapevo… Sapevo che un terremoto e’ molto diverso di una Guerra. Non c’e’ paragone. Un terremoto va oltre la portata del potere degli uomini. Una Guerra viene dalla portata degli uomini verso il potere. Per una Guerra, potremmo fare qualcosa. Per un terremoto, potremmo fare qualcosa, per dopo. Ma per entrambi, possiamo essere preparati. Se la ragione ha due nomi diversi (Guerra o terremoto), Il risultato ha lo stesso nome, ed e’ destruzione. Macerie e senza-tetti. Tutto questo era abbastanza motivante e sufficiente per me per provare di di creare qualcosa che potrebb’essere utile per momenti nel genere. Mettendo da-dove-vengo, cio-che-mi-ha-successo, PSS, e il mondo di oggi, tutt’insieme, in un’idea. pLuggage 4 Life. Pprovando di creare e concepire un bagaglio che potrebb’essere il “tetto & letto”, soddisfando cosi, in primo luogo, una delle piu’ basiche esigenze umane, cioe’ il “riparo”, Poi, “energizzarlo” con la “spina” dimensione, per darglilo un carico di energia e un potere energetico necessario per gli altri bisogni umani. E cosi, questo bagaglio che trasciniamo sempre, diventa un sistema, un “911” idea che potrebb’essere utile nei momenti “neri” di emergenza umana. Carico e utile, 4 pezzi in un “bagaglio-letto” ricaricabile. Per un mondo oggi spezzato per disastri e guerre, una piccola vita su ruote.
