The present work aims to understand the current world energy context and in particular the remote rural areas of developing countries in order to offer a viable option for increasing access to energy in those locations. This option can be represented by IRESs (Integrated Renewable Energy Systems) can exploit synergistically all locally available renewable resources to generate energy to supply the basic needs of people living in these places. Then, after describing some of multi-objective optimization techniques, the design of such an energy system has been done on the basis of capital cost minimization and later of exergetic efficiency maximization associated with it.

Abstract
The present work aims to understand the current world energy context and in particular the remote rural areas of developing countries in order to offer a viable option for increasing access to energy in those locations. This option can be represented by IRESs (Integrated Renewable Energy Systems) can exploit synergistically all locally available renewable resources to generate energy to supply the basic needs of people living in these places. Then, after describing some of multi-objective optimization techniques, the design of such an energy system has been done on the basis of capital cost minimization and later of exergetic efficiency maximization associated with it.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
