Diade. La doppia anima del design della maglieria

The main objective of the thesis is to be able to get to the realization of double knits that give importance to the inside of the dress. The interior is transformed, it becomes something new, it becomes the same dress. Proving that inner and outer are not two concepts divided in themselves, but are a combination of utilitarian function and aesthetic content of the dress. The lining has always been considered 'face' hidden of the dress, acquires value and re-emerges to the surface. Diade is the idea of design 'double', a new way of thinking to the garment: hear, feel, touch not only the outside but also the inside of the dress, the other side. The aim of the thesis is to enhance the two sides of the dress to give to each of its features, together with the same garment, tell a story rich in meaning, no matter which side it is observed. DIADE YARNS: a project created to suit the needs of the body by exploiting the properties and material characteristics of the yarns. The outside of the garment plays with yarn thick, rough, twisted in a process coarsens, a network. The lining on the contrary, cashmere fiber plant, embraces the body remaining soft, hypoallergenic and comfortable as a second skin. DIADE STITCH: the same yarn woven in different ways to give life to a single dress with two different aesthetics and different texture and functionality. Is performed outside a stitch bulky armor of 'nuts', while the hidden face heat as a fur garment with thin ribs in relief. DIADE LAYERS: between the two faces of the tubular knitting and quilted padding that can be inserted, depending on the functionality, can be of a material more or less consistent in order to obtain a new fabric. This dichotomy will create a model that looks not only warmer, with a soft design but with personality.

L’obiettivo principale della tesi è quello di poter arrivare alla realizzazione di capi in maglia doppia che danno importanza anche alla parte interna dell’abito. L’interno che si trasforma, diventa qualcosa di nuovo, diventa abito stesso. Dimostrando così che interno ed esterno non sono due concetti divisi, a se stanti, ma rappresentano un connubio tra funzione utilitaristica e contenuto estetico dell’abito. La fodera, da sempre considerata ‘faccia’ nascosta dell’abito, acquisisce valore e riemerge in superficie. Diade è l’idea di progettare ‘in doppio’, Un nuovo modo di pensare al capo: sentire, provare, toccare non solo l’esterno ma soprattutto l’interno dell’abito, l’altra faccia. Lo scopo della tesi è esaltare le due facce dell’abito per attribuire ad ognuna le sue caratteristiche che, unite nello stesso capo, raccontano una storia ricca di significato, non importa da quale lato essa viene osservata. DIADE FILATI: un progetto che nasce per adattarsi alle necessità del corpo sfruttando le proprietà e le caratteristiche materiche dei filati. L’esterno del capo gioca con un filato spesso, ruvido, intrecciato in una lavorazione più grossolana, una rete. La fodera al contrario, in fibra di cachemire vegetale, abbraccia il corpo rimanendo morbida, ipoallergenica e confortevole come una seconda pelle. DIADE PUNTI:lo stesso filato intrecciato in modi differenti per dare vita ad un unico capo con due aspetti estetici diversi e di diversa consistenza e funzionalità. All’esterno viene esibito un punto ingombrante, una corazza di ‘nocciole’, mentre la faccia nascosta dell’abito scalda come una pelliccia con sottili costine in rilievo. DIADE STRATI:tra le due facce di maglia rasata tubolare e trapuntata si può inserire un’imbottitura che, a seconda della funzionalità, può essere di materiale più o meno consistente per ottenere un nuovo tessuto. Questa dicotomia andrà a creare un modello che assume un aspetto non solo più caldo, con una forma morbida ma con personalità.
