Lavorare significa connettersi (computer / internet / persone).

Abstract
To work means to connect (computer/internet/people). Because of connection to people, physical space did not lose but changed its function. Still, existence, character and look of offices must be reviewed. Meeting space became place where actual work is happening, while support space became place for meeting. It looks like function driven categorization can not well describe space elements of contemporary office any more. Maybe there are other parameters to do it better. If break out area, work lounge and large meeting space can look same, why they still exist as different space elements? Office today is network of space units offering to people wide range of different spaces, according to needs of their work and their personal needs. If all (work) spaces are getting similar, are we creating just nice, comfortable lounges to make people feel pleasant while they are connected? What are design principles to follow while creating contemporary office? According to dynamics and constant change of work, pops out appropriation of contemporary offices to current needs of employees and work process. Looking toward the future, it is impossible not to think if offices could disappear in the future. If that happens, where people will work and how new space might look like? If not, how offices will be in the future and what kind of transformation it could experience?File | Dimensione | Formato | |
