The present study seeks for proposing a more complete Internationalization decision making model composed by a conceptual and methodological framework. Additionally, it points out the limitations of international market selection models by identifying gaps and weaknesses based on a deep literature review, exposing the need for simple tools that have real application to the decision process of firms. The framework developed structures the decision making process in a simple and clear way, attempting to provide criteria capable to support companies in deciding where to internationalize its operations and the most proper mode to do it.
