This thesis inspects the relationship between design, innovation and the economic-cultural phenomenon of the downshifting. SLOOES is the name of a diy pair of shoes and it's the means by which the (happy) downshifting is transmitted and expressed.
La tesi indaga il rapporto tra il design, l'innovazione e il fenomeno economico-culturale della decrescita. SLOOES è il nome di una scarpa, o meglio di un paio di scarpe, fai-da-te e sono il mezzo attraverso cui la decrescita (felice) viene comunicata e in cui essa stessa si declina.
