It has been analyzed current and future evolution of the Modern Trade channel, taking into consideration the radical changes that are impacting customers habits and behaviors. Modern ages are characterized by rapid and continuous changes in sociological behaviors affecting consumers habits, perceptions and lifestyle forcing Retail sector to adapt and evolve accordingly. In my thesis I have elaborated and analyzed an innovative way of shopping leveraging on the power of new technologies. In this context has born Mome, an application for smart phones and tablets that, anticipating the revolutionary development of the “Internet of Things” era, has been created with the objective of promoting a new shopping experience reducing time, costs, and operative issues to make the shopping a pleasant and unforgettable moment.
Dalla Grande Distribuzione Organizzata, sono stati analizzati scenari attuali e futuri in un percorso evolutivo che vede compiersi profonde trasformazioni nelle esigenze del consumatore. Visti i rapidi mutamenti sociologici della civiltà moderna che impattano su percezioni, abitudini e stili di vita del consumatore, anche le politiche del retail sono in continua evoluzione. Si propone in questo elaborato di tesi, un metodo innovativo e funzionale di fare la spesa attraverso l’uso di nuove tecnologie. Nasce così Mome, un’applicazione per smartphone e tablet che sposando la vicina rivoluzione Internet delle Cose, si pone l’obiettivo di promuovere il momento della spesa, semplificandone tempi, costi, problemi gestionali e rendendolo un piacevole momento da ricordare e raccontare.
