The aim of the project consists to create a model of the leg of a soccer man by using the multi-body software ANYBODY specific for the human body. Particular attention has been put on the reproduction of the knee. The joint replica will take into consideration all its components like ligaments, muscles and meniscus in their distinct properties. Thanks to the model, the movements of the human right lower could be investigated when it is subjected to particular forces. Through the movements of the leg, understanding if the ACL (Anterior Cruciate Ligament) reaches its rupture is possible. The forces have been obtained through experimental tests, using a specific equipment. They represent the loads acting on the tibia during particular ACL injured of soccer situations. In the specific, the forces result from the contact between the foot and the playground using different kinds of shoes. By means of the model it is possible to understand which kind of sole soccer shoes is the best to use on artificial turf. At the end of the project the footwear that gives the smaller efforts to the ligament has been found.
