Casa Bossi a Novara. Strategie progettuali ed energetiche per un nuovo polo tecnologico culturale

One of the the most prestigious and important buildings in Novara which Alessandro Antonelli had ever been able to design, has been lying for over thirty years in a state of disrepair, and along the years left to the defacement and vandalism. The plan of the thesis concerns the requalification of the area in front of the “Baluardo Quintino Sella”, the architectural and energetical requalification of the historical villa and its transformation into a territorial landmark, through the institution of an advanced cultural technological pole. The project work is supported with the use of 3d software and simulation, which give their basic contribution to a planning, promoting environmental sustainability and energy saving. Moreover, the project brings out the harmonious relationship with the landscape and green (of which Antonelli is the author). The theme of the external lighting is also highly considered, and will be essential, nice to see at night, to show up the features of its architecture, avoiding energy waste. Finally the main costs of the project are calculated through estimates which assure an economic suitability.

Una delle “case” più prestigiose e importanti di Novara che Alessandro Antonelli avesse mai potuto realizzare risiede da ormai trent’anni in uno stato di abbandono e, nel corso degli anni, lasciata alla deturpazione e ad atti vandalici. Il progetto di tesi prevede la riqualificazione dell’area del Baluardo Quintino Sella, la riqualificazione architettonica ed energetica della villa storica e la sua trasformazione in un landmark territoriale tramite l’insediamento di un polo tecnologico culturale avanzato. Il progetto verrà supportato dell’uso di software 3d e di simulazione, che danno il loro fondamentale contributo alla progettazione promuovendo la sostenibilità ambientale e il risparmio energetico. Il progetto inoltre mette in risalto il rapporto armonico (di cui l’Antonelli è l’artefice) con il paesaggio e il verde. Viene preso in considerazione anche il tema dell’ illuminazione esterna, che sarà essenziale, piacevole da vedere nelle ore notturne cosicché risaltino le peculiarità della sua architettura, evitando sprechi energetici. Infine i principali costi del progetto sono calcolati attraverso stime che ne garantiscono la convenienza economica.
