The right to find a place to live should be taken for granted, it should be like the air we breathe or the water we drink, it is our duty as architects to work on finding solutions to provide affordable residences for those who can’t deal with expensive real estate markets.Through this thesis we will try to offer a low cost residence alternatives to be provided by the universities and authorities for the students of Milan. Alternatives that are very well connected to the city services, and with high quality standards, solutions that are sustainable and respect the quality of life and enriches the student’s experience, while in the meantime provides prices less than those in the available rental market.
