Stell storage pallet racks are very similar to traditional stell frameworks for civil and industrial buildings. Structural response of stell storage racks is greatly influenced by the complex mechanical behaviour of their components (beam, columns and connections). The evaluation of the degree of continuity associated with the joint at the base plays a fundamental role for the correct design of pallet racking systems. Obtain experimental results for guidance on the appropriate degree of stiffness and strength of the joint is often very expensive and often very long. This thesis is based on theoretical knowledge and experimental results in order to develop a model for determining the behavior of the coupling.

Abstract
Stell storage pallet racks are very similar to traditional stell frameworks for civil and industrial buildings. Structural response of stell storage racks is greatly influenced by the complex mechanical behaviour of their components (beam, columns and connections). The evaluation of the degree of continuity associated with the joint at the base plays a fundamental role for the correct design of pallet racking systems. Obtain experimental results for guidance on the appropriate degree of stiffness and strength of the joint is often very expensive and often very long. This thesis is based on theoretical knowledge and experimental results in order to develop a model for determining the behavior of the coupling.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
