This thesis fits in a project of modeling study of two types of resistive memory (ReRAM and PCM). In particular, we dealt with the development of a mathematical model of partial derivatives to describe the electrical and thermal processes that take place within a memory cell, considering the presence of different materials (metals and not) and of heterogeneous properties within the same material. We have also been involved in the writing of part of the C + + code used to handle three-dimensional grids and solve the equations of the theoretical model.

Abstract
This thesis fits in a project of modeling study of two types of resistive memory (ReRAM and PCM). In particular, we dealt with the development of a mathematical model of partial derivatives to describe the electrical and thermal processes that take place within a memory cell, considering the presence of different materials (metals and not) and of heterogeneous properties within the same material. We have also been involved in the writing of part of the C + + code used to handle three-dimensional grids and solve the equations of the theoretical model.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
