The transportation infrastructure has been playing a key role in the urban growth of São Paulo. The axis of the urban expansion and occupation is strongly influenced by the development of the transportation system. The main objective of this work is to critically analyze the current mobility in the metropolitan region of Sao Paulo - Brazil (MRSP) by utilizing the instruments such as the mapping developed in the first phase of this work and the integrated plan for urban transport (PITU 2025) developed by the state department of metropolitan transport of Sao Paulo.
L'infrastruttura di trasporto ha svolto un ruolo chiave nella crescita urbana di San Paolo, determinando la sua occupazione e i suoi asse di espansione urbana. Il presente lavoro ha come obbiettivo analizzare criticamente l'attuale mobilità nella Regione Metropolitana di San Paolo – Brasile (RMSP) utilizzando come base di comparazione l'indagine di destinazione d'uso, sviluppato da immagini satellitari nella prima fase di questo lavoro, e il piano integrato di trasporto urbano (PITU2020/2025) sviluppato dal Dipartimento di trasporto metropolitano dello stato di San Paolo.
