Tempora tempore tempera. Il tempo in mostra con video arte e Cinema Dogma 95

Absolute, eternal, independent of matter and space, mysterious, Unpredictable: this is what we think of Time. Transient, changeable, creator and destroyer of signs, related to the subject matter and place: this is the Time. What we think of Time is the dream we have for ourselves, for our time.It looms over everything, changes the nature, makes the life cycle: birth, growth, aging, and death. The passage of time acts upon everything, one after another or separately, slow or fast, transform and shape us,the same as all objects;maybe this is why the physics declare a beginning and an end to time. Time is patina: it is the history of objects, the history of things, the story of a past that is present and that juts out into the beyond and then become future The time testifies anterior uses, because it bears the imprint of the bodies on objects. Load signs, prefigures the place and form of additional contacts, inviting them to new uses. The tension between time passing and time that lasts is the main theme of this work, the time is passing every day, the lives of all of us and what surrounds us. Long as it lasts the same time that we want to remember forever, in our travel photos, in our video in our daily allowances. Art is also one of the most discussed topics like the weather. Charming but is difficult to define. After the birth of photography, the birth of the video was inevitable. Put the technology, but what leads an artist to make a video is the subtle difference between these two: the photo is to stop a moment so that it can become eternal, but the video is telling a time as it is, with a beginning and an end. What is discussed in this thesis is the charm of the time through the eyes of young and emerging artists of video art and performance. The past of this video arts can be found in the movies Dogma 95. Not only the artists of the exhibition “tempora tempore tempera(time is a great healer[)” have taken the rules of Dogma 95 movies, with different perspectives and methods , but they also followed the dillema of time in their art works. What ruins the presentis the heavy burden of the past and the dream of the future The art works in the exhibition are raw, as the techniques of Dogme 95, and as the space in which the exhibition is exposed, Hangar Bicocca that calls the burden of time in the life of all of us,in a way or another.

Assoluto, eterno, indipendente dalla materia e spazio, misterioso, imprevedibile : questo è ciò che pensiamo del Tempo. Transitorio, mutevole, creatore e distruttore di segni ,legato alla materia e il luogo : questo è il Tempo. Ciò che pensiamo del Tempo viene dal sogno che abbiamo per noi, per il nostro tempo. Sovrasta ogni cosa, modifica la natura, la racchiude all’interno del ciclo vitale: nascita, crescita, invecchiamento, morte. Il trascorrere del tempo e le intemperie agiscono su ogni cosa, all’unisono o separatamente; lenti o veloci, trasformano e plasmano noi come tutte le materie e per questo che la fisica da un inizio e un fine al Tempo. Tempo è patina: è la storia degli oggetti, la storia delle cose;la storia di un passato che si fa presente e che si protende verso l’oltre per poi diventare futuro. Testimonia usi anteriori, perché reca l’impronta dei corpi sugli oggetti. Carico di segni, prefigura il luogo e la forma di ulteriori contatti, invitando a nuovi usi. La tensione tra tempo che passa e tempo che dura è il tema principale di quest’opera, il tempo che passa è ogni giorno, la vita di tutti noi e ciò che ci circonda. il tempo che dura è lo stesso tempo che vorremo ricordare per sempre, nelle nostre foto di viaggio, nelle nostre video ,nelle nostre diarie. Anche l'arte è uno degli argomenti più discussi come il tempo. Affascinante ma è difficile definirlo. Dopo la nascita della fotografia, la nascita del video era inevitabile .La tecnologia lo poneva, ma ciò che porta un’artista a fare un video è la sottile differenza tra questi due: fare una foto è fermare il tempo per conservarlo e farlo diventare eterno ;ma fare un video è raccontare un tempo, cosi com’è, con un inizio e un fine. Ciò che viene mostrato in questa tesi è il fascino del tempo attraverso lo sguardo degli artisti giovani e emergenti di video arte e performance. Il passato di queste video arti si può trovare nella cinema Dogma 95. Non solo gli artisti della mostra tempora tempore tempera hanno assunto le regole di cinema Dogma 95,con punti di vista e modi diversi,ma hanno seguito anche la dilema del tempo nelle loro opere. Il peso del passato e il sogno del futuro è ciò che rovina il presente. Le opere presenti nella mostra sono crude, come le tecniche di Dogma 95, come lo spazio in cui la mostra viene esposto,Hangar Bicocca e ricordano il peso del tempo sulla vita di ciascuno di noi, in un modo o nel'altro.
