This study uses a Content Analysis methodology to assess the level of sustainability of Colombian Higher Education Institutions according to the information disclosed on their websites. Three more factors were measured, first the accessibility of information related to sustainable development, second the interaction means used where the information was located, and lastly the influence of institutional characteristics in the level of sustainability. The findings suggest that most of Colombian institutions have a low to medium level of sustainability, most of the information is easily accessible but it is disperse, the institutions prefer to provide a general contact information and the size of institutions is the only factor with a moderate relationship with the level of sustainability.

Abstract
