In an area characterized by an high landslide risk, such as Italy where the 70% of the cities are in landslide zone, the knowledge of the factors that can cause a landslide is very important. This work presents the evaluation study related to the phenomenon called “crioclastismo”, which can cause the rock falls and it is frequent in the pre-Alpine and Alpine zone of Lombardy Region. This work is divided into two parts: 1)the first one regards the theoretical aspects of the rock falls and the phenomenon of “crioclastismo”, with the explanation of both all the variables, which are necessary for understanding the phenomenon, and the laboratory or on site tests, performed by different studious 2) the second one is about the results of both the simulations, carried out with a finite element analysis software, and the laboratory tests executed on rock samples taken from an area, which is subject of study

Abstract
In an area characterized by an high landslide risk, such as Italy where the 70% of the cities are in landslide zone, the knowledge of the factors that can cause a landslide is very important. This work presents the evaluation study related to the phenomenon called “crioclastismo”, which can cause the rock falls and it is frequent in the pre-Alpine and Alpine zone of Lombardy Region. This work is divided into two parts: 1)the first one regards the theoretical aspects of the rock falls and the phenomenon of “crioclastismo”, with the explanation of both all the variables, which are necessary for understanding the phenomenon, and the laboratory or on site tests, performed by different studious 2) the second one is about the results of both the simulations, carried out with a finite element analysis software, and the laboratory tests executed on rock samples taken from an area, which is subject of studyFile | Dimensione | Formato | |
