Progettazione del processo di stampaggio di uno scambiatore di calore tubeless

The main aim of the thesis work is the project of the production process to realize a tubeless heat exchanger. The heat exchangers are some devices to transfer the thermic energy from one fluid to the other, in this specific case this type of heat exchanger belongs to the category of the heat exchangers with transversal fins. This new typology of heat exchangers improves the process of the thermic exchange in comparison with the common tubeless heat exchangers that are used so far. What has been mainly overviewed is the division of the stamping operations to obtain the finished product, the modeling and the project of the prototype moulds through the using of specific softwares. The last phase of the work is based on the checking of the formability and optimization of the production process.

Il lavoro di tesi ha come obiettivo principale la progettazione del processo produttivo per la realizzazione di un innovativo scambiatore di calore tubeless. Gli scambiatori di calori sono dispositivi per il trasferimento di energia termica da un fluido all’altro, nello specifico questo tipo di scambiatore rientra nella categoria degli scambiatori ad alette trasversali. Questa nuova tipologia di scambiatori migliora il processo di scambio termico rispetto ai comuni scambiatori tubeless fin’ora impiegati. Lo studio principale ha riguardato la suddivisione delle operazioni di stampaggio per l’ottenimento del prodotto finito, la modellazione e progettazione degli stampi prototipali mediante utilizzo di software specifici. L’ultima fase del lavoro si è basata sulla verifica di stampabilità e ottimizzazione del processo produttivo.
