A world expo is a large scale global and non-commercial Expo. Expo aims to promote the exchange of ideas and development of the world economy, culture, science and technology, to allow exhibitors to publicize and display their achievements and improve international relationships. Each country which is participating represents its culture, tradition, architecture and lifestyle by its pavilion. Each Expo is held with a specific aim which necessitates all the countries to consider it as a theme for their designing and products. The goal of Milan Expo is feeding the planet and energy of life. Usable topics for the pavilions could be innovation, technology, culture, traditions and creativity making relation with food and diets. Milan expo is trying to solve the problem of feeding the planet and prevention of hunger. Decrease the amount of children’s morality and improvements of mother’s hygiene is the other effort based on United Nation’s goal. It is very obvious that every country have its own culture, traditions, architecture and lifestyle. The way of behaving with a place depends on the way of using elements that encourage people to adapt with it. Technology is a very modern way to show a developed architecture. The use of technology inside the building and to create a possibility for the people to touch and play with it, in a way that would be adjustable to their culture and characters, is an interesting way to make it familiar and adaptable with them. In this thesis, it is tried to design a pavilion which is representing the variable culture and climates in Iran by using the technology which is trying to transfer the space into the place by engaging people with their own senses reflected by the exterior elements considering the main aim of Expo.
