This Master dissertation concerns the wide field of large engineering project management; particularly, the analysis has been directly focused on investigate the complicated world of public projects regarding transport infrastructure construction under the project planning, monitoring and controlling point of view. The main aim of this work is the conception of an innovative lean tool, able to predict realistic construction site duration of transport infrastructure projects at tender phase, depending on project cost, technical features of the project, construction site peculiarities and critical contingencies. Moreover in this dissertation, the analysis of transport infrastructure project management has been extended to the way of monitoring and controlling project performances after successful tender, that is during the execution phase. For this purpose a tool for both engineering and construction site works has been implemented; firstly key performances indicators (KPIs) have been defined and then physical progress monitoring and construction site performance forecasting methods have been implemented.

Abstract
For this purpose a tool for both engineering and construction site works has been implemented; firstly key performances indicators (KPIs) have been defined and then physical progress monitoring and construction site performance forecasting methods have been implemented.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
